If your router is not displayed in our list, you can try to download the firmware directly from DD-WRT.
Connected to: http://www.dd-wrt.com/site/support/router-database
With reference to the following illustration, enter the router model in the search field (1) (i.e. WRT54GL).
In the version list (3), select "recommended" or, if not found, select the default one.
Different types of firmware are available
according to the router model. Standard/Big/Mega type dd-wrt firmware is required in order for the hotspot to work.
Other types of firmware, like Mini or Micro, are unsuitable since they do not have a Hotspot module (chillispot).
Carefully read the Additional Information field (2) that contains additional information on firmware installation.
In our example, this field indicates that Standard Generic firmware (5) cannot be directly installed since
the Mini Generic version (4) must installed first and then updated to the Standard Generic version.
In this case, download both firmware versions (Standard Generic and Mini Generic).
In other cases, you are prompted to first install a version called "factory" or "Web flash for first installation".
