Configuring Hotspot routers with a single ethernet port
To configure the router with OpenWrt firmware that have only one Ethernet port (eg, Tp-Link 3020.3040) you need to follow a slightly different procedure than the classical case (OpenWrt Firmware).
.Connect a PC with the ethernet card set in DHCP to the router's Ethernet port, open the browser at http://192.168.1.1 and then click on "Login" (leave the password field blank).
Enter in the section Network | Interface and modify the LAN settings as following:
-IPv4-address: 192.168.1.100
-IPv4 netmask: 255.255.255.0
-IPv4 gateway: 192.168.1.1
-Custom DNS servers: 8.8.8.8
We complete the configuration following the normal procedure for configuring OpenWrt firmware.
At this point connect the router to our modem and send the configuration script.
